Meet Jeamy Velez, owner of Studio Gi'A at Briary Salon Suites. Jeamy has been a stylist for over 14 years. Jeamy loves making connections with people beyond just hair talk and is proud that her salon exudes tranquility and offers a safe space to relax, unwind, and have a good time. Jeamy is having a lot of fun creating amazing looks with techniques such as blonding and balayage but she prides herself on being honest with clients. In other words, she’s not afraid to tell it like it is to make sure her people love the way they look.

I speak fluent Spanish, it’s my native language.

Fruity drinks, I drink like a girl

How do you relax outside of work?

I love hanging out with my family with a good meal and a drink.

What do you love about making women feel beautiful?

Making people feel good gives me such a sense of accomplishment. It makes me happy to see people be and feel happy.
